Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Macduff Plantations, a 120-year-old tea plantation in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. The white teas were light and delicate, while the green tea had a unique flavor that left a lasting impression. The black tea was particularly noteworthy, with beautiful honey notes that made it stand out from the rest. All teas are of high quality and are produced with the utmost care and precision.

One of the things that sets Macduff Plantations apart from other tea plantations is their commitment to sustainability. The plantation is certified organic by Control Union, EU, NOP, USDA, which is a testament to their environmentally-friendly practices. This is something that is becoming increasingly important in today’s world, and I appreciate that Macduff Plantations is taking steps to protect the environment.
