This tea was named for its appearance, which was reminiscent of a sparrow’s tongue. It is a roasted green grown in various locations throughout South Korea, and is well known for its smooth, slight sweet taste with mint, grass and marine notes. The tea presents a mild astringency.  Sometimes also known as “Joongjak” when using roman characters.
