This tea pet set features four small pigs resting on a clay tray, each peeking over the edge with tiny dark eyes. The tray is decorated with coins and leaves, symbols of wealth and good fortune in Chinese culture.
Made from unglazed clay in the Yixing style, the set is designed to be “raised” over time by pouring leftover tea over it after each session. With use, the clay gradually deepens in colour and takes on the aroma of the tea.
